Commission calculation for sales teams
Pay the right commission, and show the working.
Quotient applies your comp plans to every closed deal: tiers, accelerators and splits, per rep and per period. Reps see their number as it grows; finance gets an audit log of every change.
A sample statement. Yours will follow your plans, not this one.
What comes out
Every number, with the rule that made it.
A payout you cannot explain is a payout you will argue about. Each line in Quotient carries the plan, the tier and the split it came from.
- Automatic calculation
- Commission on every deal from the plan assigned to the rep, recalculated when the plan or the deal changes.
- Tiers and accelerators
- Rates that step up with attainment, accelerators past quota, caps and floors.
- Reps and teams
- Each rep has a plan, a quota and a running total; teams roll up for managers.
- Leaderboard
- Attainment against quota, monthly and quarterly, on the dashboard.
- Audit log
- Who changed which plan, deal or rate, when, and what the payout was before and after.
- Import and export
- Bring deals in from a CSV; export payouts for payroll.

Before you import last month
Can a rep be on more than one plan?
A rep has one plan at a time, but plans are versioned by date, so a mid-quarter change applies only to deals from that date.
How are splits handled?
A deal can be split between reps by percentage; each rep's share runs through their own plan.
Can reps see their own numbers?
Yes. A rep sees their deals, their attainment and their projected payout; they do not see other reps' plans.
Does it connect to our CRM?
Deals import from a CSV export of any CRM today; direct integrations are on the roadmap.
Make commission day boring.
Set up your plans, import last month's deals and compare the numbers with your spreadsheet.
